Bayside Builders specializes in construction management and general contracting. It is the construction branch of an umbrella group with the ability to provide specialized services for both in-house work as well as private and commercial clients.
Bayside Builder’s principals average over thirty years experience in the construction industry, with the capability to perform any project ranging from fast track commercial work, to ultra-high-end renovations, and specializing in reconstruction, short-term new construction, and most important, adaptive reuse. Bayside Builders employs a wide range of experienced professionals, craftsmen, and a proven group of mechanical subcontractors to offer complete services from conceptualization to Certificate of Occupancy, backed by tremendous experience in project evaluation, planning, government programs, tax credits, finance, design, and sales.
Meet Our Team
Donald LaRosa
Managing Partner
Donald is the managing partner of over thirty various development ventures and has been a construction manager and developer for over forty years. He has served as the managing partner, project manager, and construction manager for many varied projects, and is responsible for overseeing all legal, architectural, engineering, and site management activities. Donald is also a licensed attorney, in the State of New York, and maintains a private law practice in New York City.
Bernard J. Doyle
Architect
Bernard Doyle graduated from Pratt institute, in Brooklyn, NY, in 1976, and started his own firm in 1985 after working with several New York City Architectural firms, including SOM. He worked extensively on the restoration of the South Street Seaport while on the staff at Jan Hird Pokorny and was a Technical Coordinator at SOM New York when he left to start his own practice. He has been a principal, with Donald LaRosa, in many conversions and new construction projects, built by Bayside Builders, since 2000.
Diana Cretella
Construction Superintendent
Diana Cretella is a NYC licensed Home Improvement Contractor, licensed Construction Superintendent and a licensed NYC General Contractor. Prior to doing this she held Series 7 and Series 8 licenses, as a securities trader, on Wall Street for over 25 years.
Wendy Zelnick
In-house Counsel
Wendy Zelnick practiced as a New York City real estate attorney with the Department of Law. She has been in private practice for over twenty years devoting a significant amount of her time to Bayside Builders Inc. guiding all legal aspects of the company.
Debbie Miraglia
Controller
Debbie has been Bayside Builders’ controller for over twenty years. She has an extensive financial background and is also a registered Quickbooks Pro advisor and Teacher.
Lee LaRosa
Head of IT & Website
Lee has been with Bayside Builders for the past five years and has overseen a complete information technologies overhaul and website redesign. He has also spent time as a field supervisor.
